This year we are moving to Taiwan. We’ve been praying, planning, and discerning God's leading for the last 5 years. After receiving counsel from our church leaders we decided that now is the time to go.

“What will you be doing?”

Our goal is to reach Taiwanese students and young adults with the message of the gospel by building relationships, initiating bible studies in a one-on-one setting, and inviting them to a new church plant. To do this effectively, we will need to attend language school and learn how to lead bible studies in a bilingual setting. This church planting internship will provide opportunities to learn and grow in church planting strategy, discipleship and language learning.

To summarize, we’ll be learning Chinese, helping with a church plant, holding bible studies/events/evangelistic outreaches, and learning from the missionaries on the field.

“How will you be supported?”

YOU. Our church is sending us through Grace Baptist Mission Board but we are responsible for raising financial support. If you or anyone you know would like to give, use this link. Once you make an account you can set up a recurring gift or a one-time gift.

We see this year as preparation for a larger commitment to church planting work, whatever that looks like.

This won’t be an easy year for us, we’ve already been challenged in ways we didn’t expect. If this process has taught us anything, it’s that there’s no room for boasting in our accomplishments. Humility must be a key part of the strategy.
